This is more than just a drug store. Yes, they have a full pharmacy / pharmacist that is accepted by most insurance carriers. They also have food, liquer and all kinds of beach gear. They also have a pet section, photo lab and a beauty section as well.

This review is more on the pharmacy at this Longs location than anything else. The pharmacist on staff (I'm not sure of her name, but she's there almost every time I come in) is very knowledgeable, patient when I ask a million hypochondriac questions and very helpful - suggests cost-effective alternatives, etc.<br />

The line isn't usually very long and they offer the whole privacy thing so you don't feel uncomfortable. The pharmacy is located towards the back right corner of the store and if you have just a few other items, you can usually just take care of your entire purchase back there!<br />

The store itself is clean and offers everything you need...They even sell food - no produce, but they have snacks and baked goods, beverages, things of that nature.<br />

This store is located in the Von's shopping center but it's location makes it easier to park at compared to the rest of the stores.

I decided to stop to get some eye care, but the wait in line to pay hurt. Could the cashier have been any less motivated? It was not what I would have expected especially when she had to re-ring the entire order due to some way their coupon worked. It is a reminder not to expect something simple.
