Rip Off!
I thought cleanings were covered by insurance? I paid $170 for my first one and then $140 for my 2nd one. Only to figure out later they had been charging me for a "deep cleaning" which is completely unnecessary for me and honestly felt the exact same as a regular cleaning. These people can kiss my a**. I am definently looking else where.‎

Rip Off
This office is very nice and the staff is nice, but I wouldn't be surprised if they all work on commission. I went there and even though I have amazing insurance where I can get 4 cleanings a year without even a copay, they somehow found a loop hole that would require me to pay over $100 out of pocket for a "deep" cleaning (which seemed exactly the same as a real cleaning to me). I of course didn't realize I had the super deluxe cleaning until I get an excessive bill. My husband went there and they told him he had a cavity, even though he's NEVER had a cavity in his life. He didn't get it filled and has been to three other dentists since and none have mentioned a cavity and they all say he has amazing teeth. My friend had the same experience--she went, got told she needed some insane procedure, so she got a second opinion and discovered they were lying to her as well. It's a very popular office--lots of people go, get scammed, and never return. No wonder ...

Clarification
I'm a dental hygienest in the area and was online looking at offices in the area for possible jobs. I have never been to Long Beach Dental Arts, but I felt that I needed to make a comment about the post labeled "beware of this office!!". Without seeing the tooth I can't say for sure, but it sounds like this dentist was trying to do the right thing. I wish the crown lengthening procedure, which is what was recommended, was done more often. Too many of my past patients have gum problems because of crowns and filling placed too far under the gums without the proper crown lengthening, mainly because the dentist I've worked for either don't want to do the procedure themselves or they want to take a chance to see what happens if the procedure isn't done. I have no idea about the other ethical issues talked about in other posts, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts about that particular post. I guess the dentist should have warned you ahead of time, but it ...

Beware - bad dentist
As stated previously: "He has high pressure tactics by busty women trying to sell cerec implants and laser procedures" I was talked into ceramic fillings in two teeth, fillings started hurting a week later and it was only after great debate that they agreed to extract the teeth free of charge. Stay far away.‎

Go somewhere Else - Save your time and money!
This place is awful... they are all just trying to sell you more and more. I told them I am in college and do not have extra money for teeth whitening and all the extras but they still wasted my time with 3 different people try to sell me ...
