Awesome locals dive bar at the tip of La Jolla. They pour great drinks here for less than your average bar. No hype here but great people and drinks. You money goes far.

London's West End (or West End as most people know it) is a dive bar located in North PB/Birdrock area. They have pool, darts and cocktails and it's a fun place to grab some drinks with some friends! <br />

Personally, I like ending my night at West End, and the hot dog cart posted right outside is the perfect finish to a night on the town! I'm not usually the dive bar type, but the West End is truly a unique and awesome spot!

This little dive bar seems like its out of the way but it's totally worth your while in my opinion. They have cheap drinks and they pour strong, so be aware. I feel like most drinks are between 2 and 3 dollars. They've also got a juke box, pool tables and darts. I also recommend going there in the morning. They open at 6 am, and there are usually a few people waiting for them to open up. This place takes a little bit longer to get to, but once your there its much more a of a local bar than a place on Garnet. In my opinion this is a huge plus, and gives this place some character which is often extremely lacking in the PB area.

When looking for a place to go thats more mellow and casual than the rest of the bars in Pacific Beach that are filled with those people that are trying to be trendy, London's West End (or The West End as the locals call it) is your place. You won't be disappointed. This is the best dive bar in the area.
The drinks are cheap and stiff. This is a CASH ONLY bar, but just in case you forget they have an atm. Parking isn't so good, but then again you shouldn't be driving anyways. They have pool tables, dart boards and my favorite the punching bag game. After a few drinks you'll get the liquid courage to hit it as hard as you can, just to see your score.
The West End is always a great time. And when you get hungry at 2am when you leave, there is a hot dog cart waiting for you outside. Enjoy!

The West E is awesome. My favorite place during the week, not crowded and always a good time. Weekends are great, place gets packed, two pool tables, two dart boards, juke box, touchscreen games, cheap and stiff drinks... similar to AMPM, there's too much good stuff. o yea and hot dog cart outside.
