I did not have to get my car smoged here to know I will never get my car smoged here and would not recommend anyone to this place. They are located near an AM/PM Arco gas station, which is where I was going. When driving through the parking lot I was almost hit by a guy who was not paying attention while he was backing up. I honked to let the guy know I was there he then pulled forward to let me by and waved as if apologizing. When I came out of the gas station one of the workers from LO SIEU SMOG TEST ONLY was waiting by my car and began to yell at me and call me a bitch because I was almost hit in their parking lot on my way to the gas station. He also made comments about my behind and told me to put on under wear (I was wearing under wear). I'm not a very big girl and I had my 4 month old baby with me. I felt very threatened and his comments made me uncomfortable. He did not stop yelling and cussing at me until I told him I was going to call the cops. This was uncalled for and ...

This place is great, I just got my smog check done last week (April '09) and the people there are really friendly and nice. Total for smog check + certificate is $40 w/ the coupon (you can Google "Lo Sieu Miramar San Diego Coupon") - and no worries if you don't have it, just mention that you saw it in the PennySaver and the guy at the front will give it to you. I called ahead to see if I could make an appointment - this place is first come first serve, but you should call and ask if there is a line. The total time for me was 20 minutes from the time I stepped through their door to when I got my key handed back to me. All in all, I highly recommend this place, it's fast, friendly, affordable, and smog checking is the *only* thing these guys do, so you're not competing with other people for time or getting hassled to buy/repair other stuff.‎
