Live Oak Rest Home in Sebastopol is truly one of its kind in the Bay Area. Ethel, the manager, a veteran of the aged care industry, is assisted by Florina and Jordan, two wonderful younger women who offer the kind of care we all would wish for our parents. They shower the residents with loving attention, assisting them 24/7 with eating, toileting, bathing, and with all of the details of everyday living. Live Oak has capacity for seven residents at any one time, and is fully certified with the State of California. Once a resident has run through her money, she can go onto medi-cal. She can even receive hospice within the home. 10/10 rating from the grateful family member of a current 2008 resident - an absolute find, tucked away in the picturesque town of Sebastopol in Northern California.<br />
