Good sandwich for a good price
Barebones sandwich shop in small shopping center. Sandwiches are made to order, generous in size, especially on those huge rolls and they're pretty darn good. The prices are quite reasonable but you can even request a "smaller" sandwich for $1.00 less, which will actually fill up most people. When I went in, there was a line of people but the staff had their act together and got the line moving fast.
I don't want to compare this to the legendary but pricier Molinari's in North Beach or Genova's in Oakland, who actually make most of their sandwich meat. Little Lucca isn't at that level but they are about as good a sandwich and value as you're going to find on the peninsula.
