Visiting their service department was the worse experience of my life. The service adviser had no problem demonstrating his command of four letter words in front of my 8 year daughter. When I ask him to stop cursing he told me that an auto repair shop is no place for a child because his mechanics curse all the time. When I spoke to a service workers, he told me "I hate this job" as he rolled his eyes at a customer on the phone. I was also told by numerous employees I dealt with that people were walking off the job and they didn't have enough employees to do the work. Well I wonder why - could it be the very unhappy customers?!

They literally tried to rip me off, they tried to sell me a drive belt that I had replaced approximately 60 days prior from another VW dealership. when I told him that the belt was just replaced the service advisor said "Oh, forget it then." These guys are the reason I hate going to get me cars maintenance done.

My best advice is, do not buy or have your car serviced at Volkswagen of Reno because the moment you sign your name on the dotted line they could care less about your problems or what they can do to ensure they have a happy customer. My first car buying experience from them was AWFUL. and my service experience with them was insulting.
