I spoke to Winston on 4/22/11 and booked our truck for 5/9/11 or 5/10/11 and both dates had a very specific time frame for elevator usage, between 8am and 12pm on the 9th and 11am and 3pm on the 10th. Their driver called on the 7th and advised me it would be the 9th at 8am. Time showed up on time on the 9th, however, he showed up in a semi truck which was about 75 feet long and way too big to get anywhere near our building so they had to rent a Penske truck in order to do the pick-up. We were not sure during the booking process whether or not the tractor would be able to access and were told up front of the fees associated with the rental ($250.00 based on our weight) and we called the dispatching department to see if they could help out in any way with the price considering we had never moved with a large truck and actually did the move ourselves with a haul truck when we moved in a year and a half ago. The dispatcher, Neil was terrific and told us to take $50.00 off of the shuttle charge considering the weight was so minimal. We really appreciated that even though they did not have to help out, they did anyway. Timothy was so professional and polite, it only took him and Peter 3 hours to wrap and load everything. Delivery was quick at 3 days and nothing at all was damaged and the only additional charges was for the shuttle. Very happy customer and we were asked to post a review regardless of how the move went. we are happy to say it was awesome.

This Miami moving company I hired ( Lions Van Lines) was a right choice , very professional customer service and nice staff, everything was done in a timely manner and their prices are very reasonable I recommend them to all. Excelent move, reliable movers. Very professional. On time and took their time with each piece to insure that the furniture was well protected for the trip from North Miami to Naples. I am extremely pleased with their work.

I've moved 3 times in the past, most of the time with different companies but I just had the best move in my life on the last week with Lions Van Lines Miami Movers (800) 549-7310. They gave us a very accurate estimate over the phone and help us plan our move. Soon their local dispatch called us and confirmed the job and went over the details. He also seemed very polite and professional, and assured us everything is going as it planed and the movers will come tomorrow at 9 am. Not only did they show up on time but they packed nearly our entire apartment. Shortly after arriving, the Forman provided us with detailed information about the day and they started to work right away. Thank god they came with extra boxes and moving supplies and actually that we didn't even realize we will be needed! The packing obviously took much longer but once we arrived at our house they unpacked us in record time and even help us to reassemble some of our furniture. This was a painless move and really had a great time with the movers. The guys were very nice and honest and they couldn’t make the move more faster and more efficient and I must say, we were extremely pleased with their service. Very fast, friendly and efficient and very professional company which I wouldn't hesitate to use again and highly recommend to everybody!

This was a corporate paid move from Columbia, MD to Florida on May 19th of this year. We set everything up through Jonathan on May 3rd and went over an inventory list and compared our in home estimates to that list and tweaked it over the next few days. Their quote was a little higher than one of the estimates and considerably lower than the other. We did not compile quotes from any other companies just the 3 mentioned and were pleased with all 3 companies level of service but chose Lions Van Lines Miami Movers based on reviews on this website and we also spoke with one of the owners, Jack D. who was pleasant and really walked us through every question one might have pertaining to moving. After the conversation with Jack we placed our deposit and set the dates. May 19th or 20th with a preferred date of the 19th. Several days before the move we received a confirmation call from Martin in the customer care department letting us know that their crew would in fact arrive on the 19th in Columbia, MD to pack and prep what they could and since it was a 3 man crew the entire process would most likely be done in 1 day. Nate called the day before on the 18th and confirmed he would be there between 8am and 9am the next morning. They showed up a little earlier at 7:45 and did their thing like we couldn't believe and honestly had everything packed and loaded in 7 hours and it was a big shipment. They delivered 4 days later and absolutely nothing was damaged and looked like it had not even been moved at all. These guys are experts in every fashion and when Jonathan called to ask if we could post our review on their company, we couldn't off been happier to do it. Highly, highly recommended.
