I have had the pleasure of sending both my children to Life Skills preschool and I can honestly say it was a wonderful experience. From the first time I stepped foot in the building I was surrounded by an atmosphere of love and compassion. The staff was wonderful and trully cared for my children and their needs on a daily basis.
The school is small but what it lacks in size it makes up for in heart! I have never felt so comfortable leaving my children in anyone elses care as I did when they were in school there. The countless activities and support services that they provided to me made all the difference. Even after both my children had graduated and moved on, the staff at Life Skills continued to provided me withthe help I needed in kindergarten and beyond. I wholeheartedly recommend Life Skills preschool to anyone with special needs child who wants to see them reach their fullest potential.
I have to strongly disagree with TJM0913s review. Your opinion seems almost biased if not improbable. Maybe your "experience" was that of a disgruntled employee.
As far as I know, I count myself as FORTUNATE for having been a part of a school that puts the needs of the children before all else.

LifeSkills is by far the worst place a parent can send their child. Not only is the school small, it is located in a very secluded area where there is nothing to look out the window to but a boring parking lot & a bunch of trees. The staff are VERY unprofessional, and the place is disgusting. I feel sorry for the little children who have no choice but to use an unsanitary bathroom that gets cleaned at least once a week. The only time the staff gets together to clean up and organize is when there are parent/teacher conferences and inspectors. Walking into the office to only catch the supervisor and her assistants shopping online and chatting on aol is very professional. They should be focusing on their job. I am very fortunate to have found out about this horrible school before sending my child there. I've been warned by a few people about this school.The school may look well put togeher, but behind closed doors is a whole new ball game! Lifeskills should definitely be reported and shut down and reopen to real professionals who care about these children with special needs and is not all about the money!!
