left items to sell and called several times about status of items. They did sell 3 items out of 9 very quickly and sent out payment only because I called on them to follow through. If you consign items do not depend on them to call you back with payment or information of your items. If you never call you will never receive payment!! That is what happened to my last 5 items they claimed were donated. I never did receive a call back to let me know they were not selling.‎

I've been to both shops and must say they have wonderful merchandise. The Newport store is a little pricier then their Huntington Beach location but the merchandise seems to be a little higher-end. I keep coming back to see what treasures I can locate. LOVE IT!‎

Being a consignment junkie as the previous reviewer, I know my consignment shops. As a buyer AND seller, I've experience good and bad with both. I contacted Sue regarding selling some items and she asked I email her photos. I took the time to photograph each piece, we had discussed one collection I'd bring in since she sounded very enthusiastic about this in particular - no photo needed but I added those anyway to show her the quality of my items. My items, by any definition, are well taken care of and in perfect condition. They are also exquisite, unusual pieces for the right upscale buyer. My items completely exceeding her strict requirements. She was even compassionate since the sale is due to a death in my immediate family and I am in need of cash to pay for related expenses - she seemed to be understanding about the urgency of the situation and assured me that even if she can't use what I have, she could tell me a little about them and point me in a direction where I ...

I am a consignment store junkie, I hit all the stores in Orange, San Diego, Palm Desert, etc. etc. I have found Lido Consignment to be the best. I have consigned as well as bought many many items. Always thrilled with the prices they get for my stuff and the prices I pay for the treasures I find. The staff is great and Sue Landon the owner is a real pro.
