Don't purchase or test drive a Lexus at Kearny Mesa Lexus. The salesperson that test drove with me was not informative at all and was in a hurry to get back to the lot to sell. We ended up getting into an argument with the salesperson and then a manager came to "settle" it. He tried to tell me that he'd give me a great "Penske Friends & Family" discount but it never fell through. He didn't respond to my emails when I asked for a quote then emailed me asking if I was going to come in and purchase that day. I told him that I purchased at Carlsbad and he wrote back saying that "he figured that I'd go around trying to beat his price". Not my intent at all. I didn't even know what his price was! I purchased at Carlsbad and was very happy with their customer service.

I was referred to United Stereo who damaged the body my car during installation and also the alarm installed did not work and caused more damage so I had to repir the damage and remove the alarm as it cannot be compatible with my alarm. I was referref by this dealer to irreputable United Stereo in Vickers St!!!

We purchased our Lexus with David at Lexus Kearny Mesa and it was an excellent experience. David was not a slimy salesperson and was happy to try to answer our questions about both Lexus and other manufacturers. Normally I hate dealing with buying a new car but this was actually a positive experience. All of our experiences with the service department have been great too. No complaints!
