I went to lex med crt in gilbert on 04/11/2008
to get an allergy shot.I thought you could get a generic shot. After keeping me there for one hour, I was put in a room to wait. A dr. finally came in and told me that they could not give a generic allergy shot.THEY SENT IN A CLAIM TO HUMANA FOR AN OFFICE VISIT FOR $103.00 and billed me for $ 15.00.

I only wanted an allergy shot. Not a visit with a dr..Icalled back and complained about the charge and was told the person I needed to talk to was busy and they would return my call.After one week with no return I called again and this time my call was returned. Iexplaned that I did not feel an office visit
was justifird, She toLD me she would check my chart and call me back. She never did.

I reported this to HUmana and they said if I saw a DR, they would have to pay the visit.

THIS WAS A SNEAKY WAY TO GET AN OFFICE VISIT BILLED. tHEY PUT IN THE CLAIM TO hUMANA THAT THIS WAS A NEW PATIENT EXAM, WHICH WAS A LIE, BECAUSE i HAVE BEEN THERE NUMEROUS TIMES. tHIS WAS ALSO A SNEAKY WAY TO GET PAID. i FEEL THAT AN OFFICE VISIT CHARGE WAS NOT JUSTIFIED. i TALKED TO TWO NURSES BEFORE i SAW THE dR., AND TOLD THEM i WAS THERE FOR A SHOT. eITHER ONE OF THE NURSES COULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD NOT GIVE ME A SHOT. i DID NOT NEED A DR. TO TELL ME.,ALSO THEIR WERE ONLY TWO PATIENTS IN THE BUILDING AND THEY KEPT ME FOR AN HOUR.

tHIS GIVES ME A VERY BAD IMPRESSON OF YOUR FACILITY AND REST ASSURED i WILL NEVER GO BACK
