Lexington Cemetery by Lori R. at InsiderPages
The grounds, besides being large, are absolutely breathtaking in any season, but especially fall. All sections are well cared for, and it is a fascinating place to walk. There are literally hundreds of tree and plant species, a large pond, a military section (very historical in and of itself) for our veterans, crypts and mausoleums, and the very prominent tomb of Henry Clay. For being so close to downtown, it is very tranquil. The Lexington Cemetery is a testimonial to what a good cemetery should be.
