Fine dining fab view by DJ E. at InsiderPages
The view from this patio restaurant is beautiful. Get there just before sunset and it's amazing. Food is a bit spendy and service is okay. Clam chowder is good. Make reservations it's a must.

Superb: Expensive But Worth Every Cent
By far, the most expernsive and the best meal of our tip. You choose if you want 3, 4 or 5 course meals. You begin with a glass of Champagne (Lanson) and a tidbit (we had a small popover filled with a salmon moose.) We had an assortment of appetizers ($$ extra). My wife had the crispy skinned Onaga while I had the bouillabase. For dessert we had a banana souffle. Each and every dish was spot on. Worth every penny. For the 2 of us with a bottle of wine the bill was over $390 with tip) I only wish the wine list had more Alsatian wines.

good view and food by Janell W. at InsiderPages
the menu is tasty yet predictible, a little imagination would bring it to the level where it claims to be, and the French Laundry equivalent price tag, we enjoyed the evening. Overall a romantic, one of a kind (view) dining experience.

Sunset on the patio is unforgettable by A R. at InsiderPages
At sunset, you can enjoy a great drink, Hawaiian music and hula, and the Halekulani's famous home-made Hawaiian kettle chips all for about 10 bucks. You may never be able to afford a room at this hotel, but you'll never forget the taste of a mai tai with the sun setting over the South Pacific

Food Yummy Hotel Awesome by Andrea C. at InsiderPages
Way too expensive for me, but I've eaten here and loved it. The hotel is also great because I've walked around and have talked to people who have stayed there. The buffet is just wonderful and they are best known for their deserts. They have tons of decadents and other fancy desserts that just taste amazing. Also, its just a really nice place to go. Along with that I still believe they have a penguin exhibit and another another exhibit within the hotel. The penguins are really cute. I would say if you don't stay there at least walk down from your inexpensive hotel to see the animals and just the hotel. Its amazing.
