The Leucadian is one of my favorite bar spots in all of North County. It's pretty much the only bar in Leucadia so they don't have much competition, but even if they did, the Leucadian would probably still prevail.

It's kind of a small place, but they really make it work. It's basically about two big rooms and then the bar in the corner. They've got four pool tables and then a stage to the side.

Thursday nights are one of the best times to check this place out. They usually have some good reggae band playing, and their drinks are CHEAP! Cash only, though!

This is a funky little beach dive bar with pool tables and sometimes good live bands - great funky dive bar atmosphere if you like that sort of thing ...

I've been here several times, and each time there were lots of people. I recommend going to the Leucadian on a Friday or Saturday night, or when there is a band playing. It's more fun when there are more people! There are four pool tables, a medium-sized bar, a few video games and a cheap dart board, a dance floor / band stage area, and places to sit.

cheap, and I mean cheap drinks. From what I could gather, this place has a drink special every night of the week. If you read "my book" you know that drink specials every night of the week is a good thing. I want to go there on Wednesday to check out the rockabilly DJ. ...
