I have been reading some of the Not So Nice reviews and I truly find it Hard to Believe anyone could write such things about the One Person and Agency I have learn to trust over the years.

I have known Leslie and her associates for nine and a half years, ever since I first arrived in New York; she is loyal and honest without a fault. Having moved up from the south, Leslie guided me through the maze of things I had to learn to succeed in not just temping for her but also finding a job in the most impossible of times. She has sent me out on temp assignments for people she found positions for and I never once heard anything unprofessional said about her and the company. Everyone who knows Leslie in the city knows her on a professional side and I personally think her as a friend. (Mother Hen)

Just a thought for you all out there looking for a job of your dreams or just a position. You should always go to any agency dressed like you would for an interview and first impressions are lasting impressions. There is so much competition you have to do your best.

Upon entering, I felt a sense of hope after seeing a sea of thank you cards gracing the already busy walls. And, now, I thought, “Whew! Now I see what Monet meant.” Trying to squint to see some of the writing, I remember all the marvelous statements and the awfully busy EA running the whole office! Meeting Leslie was like meeting one of my Aunts. Straight forward, bluntly honest and terribly to the point; not only was she tip top kosher, she had a presence unlike any I have ever come to witness. She helped me re-craft my resume and she kept in touch with my pestering emails. What she promised she delivered and so did her amazing office. Claire was just awesome. Mark was the perfect EA anyone would ever want to meet. To be honest, if you have the talent LS&A is looking for, they will surely place you. If you don’t, I am sure LS&A will provide the best available advice and will truly work with you to discover your new pathway.

i went in and for my 10am appointment. The room was full of other candiates. So they had me fill out this card and i had to sit there a full hour before Leslie saw me. Now the thing is the other girls who went in to see her were talking for a little while maybe 15 minutes. so it was my turn. So did she get up to greet me and say come in? NO she yelled my name from her office and i went in and asked me maybe 3 questions with a crappy look on her face.. then said call me Friday morning i have a few places i would like to send ur resume to..i was in there maybe 3 minutes after waiting an hour.. so i called her friday and she said nothing to report but keep calling her back..lol... the thing is if she does not like how u look you can forget her ever trying to find a job for you... she bases it all on appearance.. i just got that feeling.. why talk to me for 3 minutes only and shoe me away... GOD the other girls on here with the negative feed back... i feel ya... i know exactly what u are talking about..

Worst Agency!! what a waste of my time!
Leslie is very unprofessional, makes you wait for a long time.
It took me 2 hours to get to her agency, another 3 hours for a word, and excel test.
I was told she would have something for me the following week.
I called every week for a month only to have her assistant tell me Leslie would get back to me.
Finally, I decided to email Leslie asking if she found anything for me.
I didn't even get a reply from her.

Leslie Silver and Associates are a wonderful agency to have in your corner when you are looking for work. I have worked with Leslie and Mark over the course of about 6 months and they are incredibly positive, warm, and take the extra second to pay attention to the details about the person and their goals. When I first met Leslie I was looking to transition from my college and waitressing days to something more substantial. Through a few three-month long temp assignments, I feel like I am gaining the experience I need to get the job I want-in the current NYC economy no less. More important than even the caring and respect you will be treated with, is the level of efficiency with which you will be matched to appropriate work.
