I bought a Yamaha outboard from Lentine Marine because they offered a slightly better price than others. Sure they were kind and nice. The owner even offered me to sell my previous outboard on consignment which I accepted. But here the problems started: They did not contact me although the outboard was sold on consignment a long while ago which I found out later. When I tried to contact them they did not reply my emails nor my phone calls several times. After many days of hassles they finally accepted to pay me when I was close to file a police report, but not the agreed amount. At the end I accepted the lower amount just to finish the weeks of hassles. I was surprised to read another review here with exactly the same problems. My advise: Try to avoid that Lentine owes you something. If Lentine Marine were so great they would not have given up their Yamaha dealership.‎

I just wanted to thank Julie Lentine and her staff for making my participation in their nautical flea market/boat show such a positive experience. The event on 4/3/10 was very well attended and well organized. Julie went out of her way to ensure that everything went smoothly. To top it off, they only charged $1/ft to display my boat for sale! If you're looking to buy a Yamaha outboard in Florida, I highly suggest that you call Lou Lentine at Lentine Marine. I used to work in the marine industry (for Yamaha) and Lentine Marine is one of the best Yamaha dealers in the country and definitely one of the best in Florida!
