In 2010, David J Lederer was sued to legal malpractice by Kletner Construction. As of May 2011, this case was still pending - they were waiting to hear from bankruptcy court.

Lederer also referred an auto accident victim to Dr David Shawa of Sharp Treatment of South Bay. The doctor was reported to the Ca State Medical Board in March 2010 and as of August 2011, the investigation is still ongoing. However, around a dozen insurance companies are monitoring that case and they know that Lederer referred a client to that clinic.
