great "old fashioned" hotel!: Great little single story hotel. Designed in a horse shoe shape around the pool. Grassy lawns with bar b ques and pic nic tables. Great for families, and low key vacations. We loved the layed back feeling.

Warm hospitality and cute, quaint setting: A friend and I discovered the Lazy S Lodge last year after we arrived in South Lake to discover that the accomidations we had booked online were sub-standard. After driving all over South Lake looking for a place to stay, we decided on Lazy S because the price was right, it was off the strip but not too far, the rooms were cute and clean, and best yet, the owners were gracious and accomidating. We are going back again this year and taking more friends along. I wouldn't be surprised if this trip turns into an annual event!

Lazy S Hotel - Great For Family Reunions: We are going on our third family reunion held here. It's perfect for this because of the set up. There are 6 separate cottages and then a number of rooms, all of which open into the central lawn and pool area. We set up BBQs and tables and have our family potluck. The cottages all have kitchenettes so food prep is easy. After dark, we set up our screen, plug the outdoor extension cord into the nearest room and show our old slides. The kids run around, the pool can be seen and it's great. The cottages have TVs so for the pre-teens and teens they can escape the family occasionally and watch a video. It is an older motel but quite clean. At least for our reunion it's the perfect spot.
