I've been a client of theirs for years, and I was always pleased with their selection and prices. However, this year I bought a Kipling backpack which turned out to have a factory defect. The handle doesn't lock at the frist stop, which makes it difficult to manouver. Since it took me a couple of days to discover the defect (my daughter was using it and she did not alert me), they refused to exchange the item for one in good condition. Mind you, I was not asking for my money back, I was only asking for a replacement. Now I have to mail the backpack to Kipling and wait until they see it fit to send me a replacement, which is not only inconvenient (I have to pay for shipping), but not what one would expect from a brand name item bought at a renowned store for over $200. Unfortunately, over the years I've recommended this store to many of my friends, and now I'm in the position to alert them that they have a bad customer service policy. So, if you buy at this store, make sure you won't want to exchange the item due to factory defects. For anything else, I guess they're OK.

Staff is always helpful and the selection is reasonable. The prices beat almost every price you can find on the internet for many items.

This place is like a superstore with unboxed packages and luggage everywhere. You can find about any luggage type, size, brand you wish for. The stuff is organized by brand making it quite easy to navigate around. they have everything from pricey designers like Tumi to the cheaper Eagle Creek. Also you can bring in your purse to repair if it has some rips.

Definitely a 'no-frills' kind of superstore..( just a high ceiling, exposed piping and unpacked boxes towering above the floor displays kind of place.) The store is organized by brand, which makes it pretty easy to navigate through such a large selection. They have not only suitcases, but backpacks, steamer trunks (so vintage!) and briefcases. Finding this place could not have happened to me at a better time. With Christmas coming up I was in desperate need of new traveling luggage but could not afford the high prices (even luggage on sale at dept. stores were far too high.) You would definitely do well to ask for advice though. the staff is highly skilled at matching you with the baggage that best suits you. (The also do repairs for a reasonable cost..) The selection ranges from pricey to deeply discounted. So you can be sure to find something to fit your budget or splurge if you have it! They also do have a few odds and ends such as women's handbags, walking sticks, travel clocks, etc.. And be sure not to overlook the Bargain Bin of disounted merchandise. A lot of digging but well worth it for the bargains!!

Great store. Deeply discounted items. I found the store on Sepulveda in West LA to have a much larger supply than the one on La Cienega. I also found the staff to be more helpful and Knowledgeable. I've bought 2 carry-on's from them, and two suitcases, and have been very please with the quality, price, and selection. They also do repairs for a reasonable cost.
