I still remember when I arrived for the first time at LDI. I was very nervous and excited at the same time. I remember my mom's voice in my head saying" true test is to see the staff, and their skin." I looked carefully at each staff member, and was extremely surprised at Dr. Rispler when he came in the door. I think he is almost 70? He doesn't look a day over 47. I couldn't believe it. It has been 4 months now. I am completely done with all my treatments. I am so happy about my results. I never would've imagined that I would get such dramatic results. I am surprised more.. that people don't know much about this co2 laser. It really took 12 years off my face, and it just keeps getting better day by day.
I am truley blessed, and thank my self all the time, for getting it done right the first time around.
The way it should be.
I urge you, if you are considering doing laser treatments. go to the people that have the best most advanced lasers and go to one where there is an actual doctor to complete the diagnoses. It makes a huge difference.

I too have been here for treatments. Excellent treatments and customer service. I paid only $3,000 for my entire package so I don't know what people are talking about. Maybe they just had really really super bad skin. I am totally clear of my zits and I will be going back for some more laser treatments. I checked out their skin resurfacing lasers online and decided that the lasers they have are less painful and looks like it achieves much better results so I will going back for those to clear some scarring. I did 3 laser treatments and some topical ointments. I got clear literally in 2 weeks. Lucky for me I got it fast before I got too many scars. I found out that Asian skin scars really bad, but the good news is that Dr. Rispler told me that Asian people are less likely to get skin cancer. I feel great and my skin has never looked better. I chose LDI because no one else had all the advanced medicine and lasers. I needed real professional help from a dermatologist. Also, the price is right. The other consultations I went to did the same thing. Most places talked to me about pricing upfront to see if it was something I could afford because you have to fork the bill. My parents have great insurance and even they said that zits aren't covered by them...in their words "acne is not a deadly disease." Ummm...yeah, then why does it make you so sad and depressed. Don't get me started on that. I also went to other dermatology offices that don't tell you how much anything costs and tell you that it will be an ongoing process which means a ton of doctor visits. Who's got time for that? DO THE MATH. Well, I rather know how much this whole thing is gonna cost and that the Doctor visits are all included. Plus those simple type of dermatologists didn't have any lasers. Lasers are good and I got quick results. I have read online that other meds take up to a year to work. No thanks...I got school soon and I need to look good.

I am a real LDI customer who spent thousands of dollars on there treatments...here's my story.
I signed up for four laser treatments in 2008 at a whoping 8K which according to them is a deal...when I tried to cancel they said I had signed a contract and owed them $1500 for a lousy 30 second treatment that they have you do intially so that in case you do decide to back out they can charge you for it plus another $1500 administration fee. It got to the point where there Beverly Hills lawyer got involved and forced me to either go thru with the treatments or pay them 3K.
In protest, I went thru with all treatments which were extremely painful and cost me several days of work after every treatment because you look like s BURN VICTIM(seriously). It would take forever to heal and now after over a year my skin is back to what is was...with very little to no improvements(oily skin, breakouts, pimples, etc.)
Save your money and consult with your doctor who will recommend you to a a dermatologist..it will save you money and the results will be better because your given alternatives instead of LASERS that rip your skin off and do not heal anything except for minor scars.
If you have acne the four treatments WILL NOT help you...believe me and everyone on this site. This place will treat you like the cats meow when you first arrive...after they scam you of your money, your nothing but a pain in there BEHIND and they can't wait to kick you out the door.......BUT NOT before you spend more money on there medicines, lotions, creams, sun blocks and hair gels which may I remind you are NOT INCLUDED in the expensive contract......OF COURSE!!!
You are a FOOL if you subscribe to there theory that lasers will be the solution to all your problems...I call BS!!!!
LDI DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS AND WILL MAKE YOU SIGN WHAT IS CALLED "ARBIRATION FORM" BECAUSE THEY KNOW FULL WELL THAT MOST IF NOT EVERYONE OF THERE CLIENTEL WILL NOT BE SATISFIED WITH THERE OVERPRICED SERVICES AND LOUSY STAFF...THIS WAY THEY WIN BECAUSE YOU END UP IN A COURT WERE THEY SAY YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT WHICH, ACCORDING TO THEM, CLEARLY STATES THERE IS ONLY A 20-30% IMPROVEMENT IN SCARS....BUT THEY WILL NEVER MENTION THE FACT THAT YOUR SKIN WILL BE BACK TO IT'S OLD SELF AFTER A YEAR DURING THERE SALES PITCH BECAUSE IT IS NOT TO THERE BENEFIT.

I have to agree with all the 5 star and positive reviews. LDI offers an amazing service. I too have been a victim of the dreadful acne and remnants of the scars caused by it. After 5 laser treatments, I am almost 100% clean and clear. Acne was a constant battle for me. I have no regrets coming to LDI and I do not agree that it is an expensive service. It is priced within reach and the benefits are worth a tremendous amount more. LDI has a great staff that is attentive and professional. Doctor Rispler truly pays attention to your treatment regimen and customizes to the tee based on what seems to be a plethora of experience. LDI is a paradigm of the true medical laser clinic. It is not a mom and pop shop that buys a laser and says it works. You would be putting yourself in great hands at LDI. I can stand by that statement 100% and would refer all my friends and family to the best treatments for acne and acne scars in the world.

Not to sound all positive and such, I too have a complaint in regards to the hours of operation of this office. They do not open on the weekend. It is kind of annoying because I work all week and the only time I really have is the weekends. It's like going to Chick Filet and they are closed on Sundays. I hope LDI you read this and decide to open on Saturdays at least. I am sure a lot of people would love to be able to come in on the weekends and you can definitely increase your traffic, not that you need it. Just a suggestion.

Nonetheless, I greatly appreciate that Doctor Rispler is always on top of the whole dermatology world. I would not want to trust my skin to anybody else. Thank you to the staff at LDI and a very warm thank you to Doctor Rispler.

If you are reading these reviews, then you are like me. I wanted to make sure that this company was good before I went in for their free consultation. LET ME SAVE YOU THE TIME AND MONEY. At their consultation, I didn't like their pricing and thought that they were ripping me off. Let me tell you what is really a rip off; getting services that don't work. I was like you shopping around and I bought services from 2 different places: one place claimed to be a dermatologist and another was a MEDSPA. I wasted a ton of money on those places to find that there is a major difference between laser treatments and lasers. The real waste of time and money was committing to 6 months of time and 8 laser treatments from a company that pretends to have comparable laser. Oh yes, the other places were really nice people until your last treatments they can't wait to kick you out the door. I know the treatments were sub par now because my acne scars were not reduced or improved at all. Who cares about great customer service when you still have acne scars. I would rather have results.

I came back to these people to get it done from them and yes my acne scars improved with only 4 treatments. You will see for yourself when you go to the other places. Let me warn you that other places are using their name to sell you sub grade services and lasers at even a cheaper price and that is what you are getting; a cheaper laser treatment.

If you ask me, I can see for myself that a few negative reviews were written by those other places to fool you and me.

By the way, I was not the only one that went here to fix what the other places screwed up. During my visits, I have heard of several people coming from other places complaining about their services from even the places that I have visited. I am not an unusual case. Those other places are just scam.

Look, do you go to a DENTIST to FIX YOUR EYES? Then why would you go to anybody else besides a dermatologist to fix your skin? It just makes sense right? For me NOW it does. I didn't think before and I was screwed. So don't get screwed. And if you want laser treatments, you have to go to a place that specializes with lasers.

Honestly, the treatments are not that cheap. If you can't afford it right now, then don't go to the free consultation. Even if you want to finance the treatments, you have to know that it is really what you want and ready to make payments every month to pay off your treatments. My credit is good and so I did the financing and I am finally happy with my treatments.

So really do your research about these companies. You will see what I am talking about. Good Luck!
