We went on a Sunday in March weather around 80 degrees was lucky to be seated right away on their patio which is mostly shaded. Food is excellent and we are picky eaters. We choose to order off the menu as opposed to have the Sunday brunch Service was great! The manager was running food. ( manager delivered the food ) she was very nice and accommodating. They had a 4 or 5 piece mariachi band which I usually don't appreciate but theirs was much different. they did all types of music and it wasn't in your face. The whole patio clapped and appreciated the music. It was a fun lunch. The waiter we had Gabriel and the manger made it a very good experience.

Go here all the time. Wonderful patio. Live mariachi music. Great margaritas. My favorite menu item is the Quaxacan (sp?) tostada. We always have a blast, one of my favorite restaurants around. Definitely take any friends visiting us here at least once.

Great ambience, strolling musicians, awesome food with large portions reasonably priced and suberb pina coladas. What more is there?

I always take our out of town visitors to Las Casuelas Nuevas for Sunday brunch. So far, we have never been disappointed. On our last visit, I made a reservation beforehand and our party of eight was seated promptly. We sat on their lovely smoke free patio. Our waiter served our champagne right away. The buffet was delicious. It's a little pricey, but considering you are getting prime rib and champagne, it's well worth it. The mariachis were entertaining without being too loud or invasive. As usual, we had a very nice dining experience.

I have to say that they are overpriced. Additionally, you never know if your food might be suddenly contaminated by bird droppings. Sorry, not too pleasant, but it is part of the dining experience there. Also, the last (and probably final) time we went there, a bug crept out of the chip basket. Other than that, they have a nice location..
