This was no bait and switch!!!!!! by Richard S. at InsiderPages

Char M. was a customer of LaRue Furniture and purchased a custom sofa and a recliner. The sofa was ordered in custom color. Char M. got EXACTLY what she ordered. Her first complaint was that the furniture was not right for the room. When that did not work, she said that the sofa was hard. We explained that the sofa was new and that the cushions were firm. We further explained that the cushions would soften in time and that if she wanted to speed up the process, she could put the cushions on the floor and step on them. This would break down the foam and soften the cushions. CharM took this to the Better Business Bureau and they sided with LaRue Furniture. She, also, put the charges in dispute with her credit card company and they sided with LaRue Furniture as well. It is impossible that CharM is right and everyone else is wrong. LaRue Furniture is a store that has been family owned for more then 25 years and we pride ourselves on our customer service. If CharM had a legitimate complaint it would have been dealt with in a fair manner. It is terrible that a consumer can question the integrity of our store with absolutely no checking of her facts.

DON'T SHOP HERE!!!! by Char M. at InsiderPages

BAIT & SWITCH!! I customed ordered a couch and chair that at the store was soft and comfortable. What they delivered was anything but. I called immediately, and explained that this was not what I had ordered. They basically said too bad, and that I should put the cushions on the floor and stomp on them. I have gone through several months of dispute, to no avail. If you are looking for customer service, stay away from LaRue Furniture. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau, and plan to contact the States Attorney. They did not deliver what I ordered, and have not stood behind their products. I could write a novel at what I have gone through with this company, and can't urge you enough to go somewhere else!!
