AVOID SERVICE DEPT AT ALL COSTS by Tom U. at InsiderPages
Bought a 04 Touareg from their sales people a year ago, who are very good. Got a great deal and figured i would give them the service business as well. It has been a nightmare.

Last time i dropped it off at 8 am to have the battery checked and they called at 3:15, 45 minutes before closing, telling my wife that if i did not agree to pay $400 to replace the battery the car was not going to run. They also replaced by rear wiper and ONE MONTH LATER the thing has fallen apart and they are saying its another $130 to replace it again. No apologies. And it was their cashier who told me that the rear wiper is covered for one year, the service rep did not even mention it.

I have never filled out a customer review on any dealership, after having Saabs, Toyotas, Nissans, Volvos, so it took a lot for me to want to invest the time to write a review.

CHEATER by hello w. at InsiderPages
Pathetic servicing. I took my car for 120k Servicing, there i did 120k servicing and battery replacement, and they took 912$ from me. After taking my car out of the service center, I suddenly started getting some sort of noise from the tire, which was not coming before, when i called them up and told this is the problem, they said you come here and we will try to fix the problem. And they called me continueously on their bensenville service center for 4 weekends, every weekend they used to give some and other excuse for me to come on other weekend. And finally thay said they cant do this repair as they didnt do anything. Otherwise pay 768$ and we will repair the car.

Apart from that they said they checked all fluids and tire and immediately on same day i got the problem saying low on coolent fluid. Then what did they check? Also my tires were totally flat on road while coming from service center to home. What tire presure did they check in 120K servicing then?

I would never recommend anyone to go there, as they will purposely create the problem to your car on your visit so that you need to go back for that repair and they can charge and earn more money for the purposely created problem. That's how they are earning money and fooling people.

DON'T GO HERE!!! by Kimberly W. at InsiderPages
I purchased the ipod harness and had it factory installed. It never worked the way it was supposed to. Went to have them remove it after I had another version installed. Anyway they insisted that I leave the ipod in the car to confirm that the other harness worked after they removed their part. When I went to pick up my car I looked in the glove box and it was gone. I then asked the service manager if he knew where it was. He said NO but he would find out and call me back. He also confirmed it was there. After 2 days the manager of the dealer contacted me to say they didn't want to accept responsibility because no one could confirm it was there. I got very angry and then after a long fight I was give a partial refund. I even spoke to Dave Roesch and he doesn't seem to care about his customers either. Don't go there they will rip you off too...

Not perfect, but no complaints by Joe V. at InsiderPages
Been taking my VW Bug to Larry Roesch for several years, and although there are cases when I felt put off, on the whole it's a good place. The service staff are courteous, and definitely get a lot of attention if you walk into the showroom.

PROS: New building, nice staff
