Positive changes

Dr. Lange must have cleaned house, i went in for my yearly eye exam in Gainsville eye center and it was like a new place, newly remodeled and a courteous staff. I decided to give one of their new Doctors a try ( Dr Lange wasnt availble for three months). She was great and took her time trying to get my glasses the best she could. I will give her a plug, Dr Abraham. They told me to come back in a few hours and my glasses would be ready , that is great service. The changes that were made at Lange Eye Center were for the positive, and best of all my waiting for the exam was much less this year.

I think it is funny how....

I find it funny that the some of the posters for the reviews have the same names as Dr. Langes little girl "Paris L"ange and his wife, Tamie.

Improved Tennis performance

I have ben told by every doctor i have ever seen i cant wear contact lenses, the doctors at Lange Eye Care fit me in contact lenses that are great! My tennis game has improved because my side vision is so much better! What a differcence contacts make!

great Dr and great customer service

I am a patient at lange eye institute in the villages. My Dr. (Dr Pieschke) is a great Dr. He is very thorough and easy to understand. He seems to really enjoy his line of work. The staff is all very freindly. The younger girl in the optical(I believe she said she is the manager) is very good at explaining the different things and types of glasses you can get . I recently picked up my glasses which did take a little longer than expected, but at least she did call me to let me know there would be a delay. I got a really expensive lens because of past problems I have had adjusting to glasses and she was 100% right, it was worth the extra money. I put on my new glasses and had very minimum adjusting to do. My overall expererience has always been a pleasant one, I have been going to this office since it opened. I will highly recommend to anyone!

Low vision center to help the blind

I came down for the winter to visit my mom in the Villages florida, she is going blind from macular degeneration and loosing her independece rapidly. I decided to take her to Lange Eye Cares center in the Villages. Dr Lange did an extrememly good evaluation and then took us to a special section called their low vision clininc. My mom was able to sit down and try numerous differnt types of low vision technology to help her read easily. I was amazed at some of the magnification technology that they had available. Well my mom left with some special reading glasses, a device to watch TV called the Max TV and some hand held lighted magnifying glasses. We both purchased some eye vitamins called Fortifeye Vitamins. I highly recommend The Lange Eye Institute in the Villages Florida for anyone loosing their vision.
