This course is both affordable and well-kept. The holes are fairly easy, but nuanced enough to keep you interested. The staff are very friendly too, which is a major plus. Give it a shot if you haven't been yet!

Older community, but nice a quiet. Stayed at the Hotel, it was nice and quiet too and on the lake, but the Hotel is a bit older, but for they charge it was a great value. They just opened up the Private Golf Course to the public for a while, so if you like golf jump on it. They have a brand new gym you can use, but the bad thing is that it’s over at the Country Club. It in walking distance so I guess it’s a good warm up before working out anyway. They have a free breakfast at the Country Club that was pretty decent. They have free Wifi at the holel, so its nice if you have to work like I did a couple of days.

Sitting on the patio overlooking the putting green and golf course is such a relaxing way to enjoy a great breakfast! We have treated out employees to many breakfasts here and they have always left satisfied!

The Restaraunt at Lake San Marcos is a great place with excellent food, excellent service, and a bar that makes great cocktails, and has great atmosphere. The prices are right in line, and the service is right on. The upper dining room has an amazing view of Lake San Marcos. Go at sunset.
