Zero Priority For Chest Pain‎
This has to be the worst emergency room I've ever been to. We were there for 2 hours with a child experiencing chest pain and the triage nurse didn't make us a priority at all. OTHER hospitals bump everyone out of the way and put chest pain to the front of the line. I understand that all the beds were full and the cots too BUT that is no excuse for the triage nurse to see only about one patient every 30 minutes. She's the friggin' TRIAGE nurse! Plenty of people in the waiting room, some there for more than 2 hours which had not been seen yet. As a matter of fact they didn't even ask why we were there for at least 15 minutes. Another hospital of this size we have been to has 3 staff members when you walk in, not one "greeter". Absolutely ridiculous. The greeter was very pleasant certainly and accomplished her paperwork in the best way she could but the system that has been designed here is moronic. MORONIC. DO NOT GO HERE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY! Chest pain ...
