I called Lake Buick Pontiac GMC in response to an internet add for a new car and asked them to send me the specs on the car. They sent me an email quote that included the advertised price and a complete and unambiguous description of the car – but had no VIN number. A few hours later I called back and said I wanted to purchase the car they quoted for the advertised price. Over the phone I charged the full price to a credit card. But the car they delivered 2 days later was stripped down without $3000 of options that were in the email quote. After lying to me and saying that the car they delivered included certain features which I later realized it didn't, they provided me with a "due bill" that obligated them to install the most obvious items that I had already realized were missing.
