I am very fussy when it comes to Mexican food and this place is BY FAR the best place I've found so far. My parents took me to this place long before they moved onto Telegraph. They used to have a place over in LaSalle, and even a smaller place before that in Monroe. This place used to be run by just the family, and they had thier recipes kept secret until the owner passed away some years ago. Although everything there is great, I highly recommend the soft tacos. They are different from what you would expect, they come with a sauce on them that is absolutely fantastic. I live 45 miles north of this place and will make the drive ANYDAY for some La Fiesta. I always take my family and friends with me and they love that place too! Check out the La Fiesta in Dundee too, its run by the same family, and have all of the same recipes. this place use to be the best in monroe county till el vaqueros came to town. its still real good but they dont give you chips or salsa for takes outs which seems a bit strange!! if they can give them to you when you eat in they surely can do it when you have take out!!!! el vaqueros does!!!
