Italian Restaurant by Cathy H. at InsiderPages
We found this Italian restaurant to be very good. I had the homemade ravioli's which were excellent. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is very friendly. Prices were not bad for the quality of food you get.

Great Homemade Pasta
My wife and I were in Reno for our anniversary. I was surprised by the negative review. Maybe it is because they did not have Brooke as their server. We had Brooke help us with our takeout order. My wife is a vegan and Brooke did not skip a beat and recommended some great dishes. My wife told me it was the best arrabbiatta she has had in a long time.

Best Italian food
We saw this restaurant driving by and stopped. Cool interior with contemporary art on the walls and all the staff are wearing black with the logo of the restaurant. We were quickly sat despite the dining room been very busy. The hostess walked us to a quaint side room were all the noise subsided. We order Ravioli Fiorentina (made in house) and the special Risotto of the night with pan seared duck breast. The food arrived fairly quickly (we were told told the risotto would take 25/30 minutes, because is prepared from scracth). Both entrees were delicious with the cremy risotto been one of the best I ever had. Service was quick and unobtrusive, and the all experience would warrant another visit when we will travel to Reno again.

Major Disappointment
I'd heard that things had gone down hill since the ownership change about a year ago but I always want to try things for myself. I wish I would've listened to people and not wasted my money. The wine list was terrible for an Italian restaurant and when I tried the house wine it tasted old. They were out of everything else I wanted!!. Our waiter, (I think his name was Artie or something similar) seemed too involved with his other table of" friends" so he pretty much ignored us except for order-taking and bringing the check. He told us the wrong ingredients on the fish, too. I had halibut that was drenched in oil and over-cooked. It came with some vegetable also dreched in butter! Anyone can cook if they put that much butter on the food. My friend had pomodoro--a pretty basic dish. She said it was o.k. but wasn't that impressed. The only thing that was good was the pistacio gelato that they get from an outside company. Go figure!!

Great homemade ravioli
Excellent wild mushroom ravioli. i really liked this place. It reminds me of the pasta I had in Italy. The person who wrote the review saying it was too much butter, obviously has never had northern italian cuisine. Butter is used in northern italy and olive oil in southern italy. I thought the flavors of the homemade ravioli were wonderful. The sauce was perfect. The service was great and the wait staff was friendly. I was with co-workers, but think it would be a great for a romantic date.
