If you'd rather take your AUDI somewhere other than the dealership for service -- give La Jolla Porsche & AUDI a visit. Lubo is the owner, a stand up guy and great mechanic.

He's been servicing my A6 AUDI for the past 10 years and I have never had a problem with any work done. This includes the basic oil change, tune-ups, steering rack replaced to brakes.

He'll give you an honest assessment. If Lubo thinks you can hold off on a repair -- he'll tell you true. A note goes in your file and the next time you're in, he'll double-check to see if anything's changed.

What I like best is that he always has time to answer my questions and explain what's been done. It doesn't hurt that he maintains a clean, organized shop. That says a lot about a mechanic in my opinion.
