We have never had a worse experience with any service provider -- ever! They started a job that we clearly informed them was an emergency to install deadbolts at our premises. This was due us being burglarized twice in the previous few days. Then, about 1/3 of the way through the installation job, they announced that they were leaving, but should be able to come back the next day to complete the job. When we pointed out that we had specifically told them that we needed to have the deadbolts installed immediately because we feared yet another burglary, their response was that we should “hire a private security guard” until they got around to finishing the job. Instead, we went to the considerable expense of hiring another locksmith on an emergency basis to finish the job that Kwik Key had abandoned. The new locksmith promptly finished the job, including redoing the defective work that Kwik Key had started. Finally, Kwik Key had the nerve to send us a whopping big bill!

Our recommendation is to avoid Kwik Key Lock & Safe of Mountain View at all costs, even if it means hiring a private security guard to guard your premises.

This place is not like the other places that use an electronic machine to make copies. They hand make them, they always work, everytime. Great service.

We've used Kwik Key several times over the past three years. We've had them change locks, make keys and have purchased security items from their store. Sales staff is very knowledgable and helpful. Would definitely go to Kwik Key again!
