Doug is terrific. I wish I'd found him years ago! I will never use anyone else. I've used a dozen or so different plumbers during the 7 years we've owned our apartment building. Once Kuttruff Plumbing did their first job for me, I realized I had been over paying for sloppy, substandard work from the other guys. They see an apartment building, see an out of town owner/manager who also happens to be a woman making a decision on repairs and figure they'll jack the price up as high as they can. For reviewer Colin who said "Jerk on Phone" How in the world can you expect a plumber to negotiate a plumbing job over the phone, sight unseen? Doug is honest and hard working. I can't even begin to tell some of the horrifying stories of working with some of the "chain-franchise" plumbers. Like I said, for me, it definitely is Doug's way and no one else's way.‎

We called Doug Kuttruff to fix a list of minor problems with our sink and shower. He owns the business and does all the work himself. Doug was professional, competent and charged us a very fair price. We will definitely use him again.‎

Kinda blew me off when I was negotiating the job over the phone. Abruptly ended the conversation with me. Doug is one of those guys who thinks it's either his way or no way. I will never call him back again!‎

I have used Doug at Kutt Ruff Plumbing several times. He is a solo craftsmen so he only promises what he can deliver. He is on time and has been fast to respond. Perfect guy for every small job, toilet repairs, faucets, bathtubs, etc. He is not a contractor - so he is great for the repair stuff do-it-yourselfers should not do, or screwed up doing themselves. Fair prices, fast service.
