Great Place to Eat!‎
I have been reading all of these bad reviews, and I have been here probably 20+ times since they have opened. I have never had bad service, the food always comes out fast, the portions are good, and, get this, I received some overcooked steak on a hibachi steak plate, the waitress gladly took it back and brought me a new plate with no arguments. But, I didn't automatically try to get free food due to a mistake by the chef, I simply asked for him to re-cook it. The manager is a very nice man, I have seen him walk through from table to table making sure everyones food is ok and that service is satisfactory. After reading these other reviews I just wonder if theses people are just all in a bad mood and looking for something to complain about, or if we are just going to completely different restaurants. The only complaint I have about this place is that the food is way too good, can't stop going back, their egg rolls are probably some of the best around. Compared to Sake Express, I ...

Really Good Food!‎
Some of the best Japanese around, I usually don't like Japanese, but this place is really good, their rice isn't crunchy like at Sake Express. And their egg rolls are really good too. I'm also a big sushi eater, love sushi, this place has a very talented sushi chef. I recommend this place to anyone that loves Japanese, don't let the bad reviews discourage you, find out for yourself, don't let other peoples opinions about things define what you think.‎

Discrimination against my special needs child‎
I went to Koto's restaurant tonight with my husband and my 2 year old special needs daughter. My daughter is autistic with some other medical issues. She made a tiny mess on the table and dropped a tiny amount of rice on the floor. My daughter has joints that pop out of place that can sometimes prevent her from walking and holding things correctly. She went to pick up her bowl, and her arm twisted and she dropped the bowl on the floor that then broke. Long story short, our waiter came out to tell us that the manager and owner said that we were no longer welcome there over this incident. My daughter was not bothering anyone else in the restaurant. When I told the waiter to tell him to come talk to me about it, he cowardly stayed in the back of the kitchen. Awful! Will never go back.‎

Dropped the ball‎
My wife and I went here this evening for supper. We have eaten here many times in the past and never had an issue. We ordered hibachi fillet mignon. The steak was too tough and chewy to eat. I ate about 4 of the small pieces and my wife ate 3 or 4. That was enough to make your jaw hurt. So I tell the waitress (who was great the entire night). She goes and tells the manager/owner and he says "Sorry it was tough but it is still 17.95 a plate." I asked to speak with him. He was very rude. He mentioned that we ordered it cooked too done. We ordered it medium and some of it was overly done. He said the cook might have overcooked it but still wanted us to pay. He also stated that maybe we would like the cheaper steak as if we did not know what fillet should be like. Remember, the plates were still full, we did not even eat the rice. He then sends a waitress out to our table with a plate full of the raw fillet to show us. I did not care about the steak. He offers to take 50% of the ...
