Kohl's is a lot like other discount department stores, Mervyn's, Sears etc, but the quaity of the clothes and household items is much better. It's actually fun to shop here, since it's pretty organized and there is a lot of selection. They always have great sales (especially on Saturday mornings) and the customer service is great.

Good kids' clothes sales by Margaret D. at InsiderPages
They have good kids' clothes sales from time to time. Today they had a bunch of character T shirts at 50% off, making them only $5 each. They also had character pajamas for over half off, which was a great deal.
The other parts of the store remind me exactly of Mervyn's. They have some cute women's clothes as well.
