It smells like a library - with real books! The selection is pretty good for a used book store and I can always browse for quite some time before coming out.

I visit this stacked to the ceiling book shop twice a month and trade in about once a month. The staff, while low key, is very knowledgeable and helpful. When i think of a used book store this is what i think of. This is my favorite used book shop on the peninsula.

I am completely convinced that the owner of this store had an extreme case of my book problem. I picture his house getting fuller and fuller as he buys more and more books about things that interest him. Finally he just gave up, and opened a store. This used book store has a good selection of fiction, some nice art books, and a good children's section as well. It is pretty well organized too, although there are always stacks of books waiting to be shelved. They have a lot of Science Fiction, which does not interest me, but maybe someone wants to know about it.

I love to browse this store whenever Im in the area. I just love the smell of the place and all the stacks of books all over the place is very charming. I love to go in and see what treasuse I may find within the stacks of books here and there. The staff is also very friendly and quite willing to answer questions or help in any way.

for some reason i feel uncomfortable in this store. I think they are high but selection of books is clean and like new often I have ahd trouble parking but the wholoe town of paloo alto is like that
