K-Mart is the only department-style store in Oakdale. This means that they have no competition and it shows. The store is not always the cleanest. I have seen dirty clothing on racks, trash in the aisles and a general sense of disorganization.

The clerks all look as though they would rather be anywhere but there. Rarely, do you get a greeting at the registers. You are lucky to actually have the cashier look at you.

Lastly, they do not keep the shelves stocked. If something is on sale you had better be there bright and early or you are out of luck because they are more likely not going to restock during the sale.


All and all if you need some batteries K-Mart is okay but if you plan on actually shopping I would suggest making the drive elsewhere.
