I'm a cashier at kmart and from the other side of the counter, that is completely wrong. If an employee doesn't know that answer to your question it's probably because that is not their department there for they know nothing about it, yet you all expect us to know everything about every part of the store. We do get busy a lot and people expect that even though we have a ton of customers, you should be able to get through the line in less than a minute. And there are many VERY nice ladies at the service desk, and there are some that are not. But no matter what, the customer is almost always rude. I'm sorry, but i really feel like these reviews are biased and wrong. And this is all coming from a person who hates her job. I hate kmart. And yes, it is just for a pay check.

This store needs to be shut down! The customer service is horrible. The employees are rude and they must just be there to collect a pay check and go home because if you ask them for help, which is their job they look at you like you asked them to kill someone. Never again will I give K-mart on west washington any of my money

I stood in line, first to be waited on, and stood there for a good 5 minutes before the cashier looked my way from where she was talking to another employee in the isle, several feet away. She acted like I was an intrusion on her visit with the other person. My husband had a horrible time getting someone to check him out. He was in line for 25 minutes. Tried to talk to the store manager, and got nowhere with him. English was his first language, but he did not seem to understand anything being said to him. Do they hire stupid people on purpose? I absolutely hate Kmart, but it was close and I was in a hurry. I will go out of my way to never shop there again. It was dirty and messy in the store. Rude people. Never again!!!!

One of the worst businesses on the west side: This place has to be the slowest place i have ever seen. There is never an employyee to help you with something.
