Drawing from classic Florida architecture, our majestic Kissimmee resort spans 63 acres and celebrates Florida's history, culture and natural beauty. Our signature atriums recreate three Florida environments, immersing you in the sights and sounds for which the state is known - from the gently rising mists of the Everglades to the funky and vibrant island revelry of Key West to the Spanish-infused, old-world charm of St Augustine.

We have stayed here multiple times for weekend get-a-ways & have never had a bad experience. Friends & family have stayed here as well, based on our recommendation, and they are always impressed. With excellent restaurants & things to do right on property, there is no need to even leave the resort. Local residents are able to take advantage of special discounts, so be sure to sign up for their email!

a bit out of the way by Jaime H. at InsiderPages
The gaylord palms resort is a bit out of the way from Disney and universal but it's still a very nice hotel. Mostly business trip type of people or those wishing to stay away from the parks. Rooms are expensive but very nice.

Never seen anything like it by Dianne W. at InsiderPages
This is the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in. You never have to go outside--unless syou want to use the swimming pool. The atrium has three distinct areas representing various sections of Florida, and you can walk the trails through each section. There is an abundance of plant and animal life to be seen, including a section full of baby alligators. The restaurants are varied and the Java Coast coffee shop offers very reasonbly-priced salads and sandwiches if you don't feel like a full meal. There are shops to browse (albeit a bit on teh pricey side), a nice health club, and more. I can't wait to go back!

Business meeting by Mark T. at InsiderPages
My company has our national sales meeting at one of the Gaylord Palms each year. The Orlando hotel is by far the best one. Everything you need is inside the hotel. great restaurants, bars, shopping, pools, workout.

I actually look forward to this business trip.

The indoor atrium is amazing, including live animals.

The restaurants are great and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

i would definitely book this for personal vacation or a company meeting!

Gaylord Palms by Erin H. at InsiderPages
If you have done the Disney/Sea World/Universal Studios thing but still want to come to Orlando, come to Gaylord Palms. It is in and of itself a resort! You won't ever have to leave the place and you can have a true vacation experience. The hotel is divided in different sections, each representing a different environment...and there are restaurants that go along with each theme. I went with my parents before I graduated high school and I opted for a day at the spa there instead of going to a theme park -- it was the best decision ever! The guy who did hair used to work with Farrah Fawcett and the equipment and products they used were the latest and greatest. One of the best resort experiences -- even down the room service and bellhop when you check in. It may run a little more, but you definitely get what you pay for here!
