Steamed clams in white wine broth w homemade sour dough better than Naragansett Bay! Northwest varietal oysters as good as anywhere even in months w/o an r. Perfect mint juleps (but no silver cups)

Showed up an hour before closing for a bite fbefore we went home.. I had heard only good things so thought id try it out..
Walked in no hostess, waited 5 min then i walked into the bar and no bartender...Dirty dishes lingering on empty tables and no seats. Waited some more, finally when someone came out he was disturbed that we were there..Sat us and said to hurry and look at the menu that they were closing soon.(Rude) I had a couple questions and that irritated him more. Our food came out a long while later, cold and he never came back around to ask if we were ok or needed refills. If it wasn't so late I would have left and ate somewhere else! I will not reccomend or eat there again. Horrible expierence!!!

Kingfish is located along a busy street (Grant) and is a challenge to find. Once I located it - I was so disappointed. The hostess acted like I was disturbing her. - rather than sitting down for dinner, I decided to have a drink - the ambience it nice enough. I was really put off by the hostess and decided to leave rather than give this place my money.

This is a truly great restaurant, especially their fish dishes! A very nice atmosphere, which is highly relaxing. Excellent wine menu and great service!!! We love to go for special occassions.

The food is excellent and the atmosphere is great for a date or small gathering. There are a lot of different options on the menu and the service is efficient.
