I had seen Dr. Healy before a number of times for non-weight loss reasons and my experiences were fine. But it looks like his weight loss program has become his main focus and he's brought in some strange practices.I recently became interested in his weight loss program and checked out his website, which said he now has an office in Rancho , so I called the day before I planned to go to his Duarte office (bc he takes drop-ins only) to make sure he would be there. The lady assured me he would. So imagine my surprise when I was in the examining room and Dr. Healy didn't walk in, but a Dr. Rosales. After a quick chat about the program he prescribed some medication. As I was paying for the visit, I asked the receptionist for Dr. Rosales' business card because he was new to me, but she said he didn't have any. I thought that was strange. When I went to go fill the prescription, I noticed that the prescription was signed Dr. Healy and wondered why Dr. Rosales didn't have his own prescription forms or business cards. I guess that's the way dr. Healy handles things now.

Hi Aaron and GB...etc Go ahead - try to find a licensed Dr. Rosales. My daughter was a patient at Dr. Healy's office and under Mr. Rosale's care. There was legal on a number of issues, that I became aware of, including practicing medicine without a license and a level of sexual assault. I remember the shocked look on my daughter's face when that happened. Look it up if you don't believe me! You'll find a court filing proceeding and a sealed settlement document.

Also, if you've been taking Adapex for weigh loss and have been taking it over 8 weeks - check to see if part of your weight loss is your teeth. I have an e-mail back from the manufacturer that advises that it not be used over 8 wks...There's additional research I found - something about gum desease and dry mouth impacting the teeth.

Add to that, that I've been trying to get some tax records for 2005 and 2006 for prescriptions I bought over their counter, in their office. Even today, I had a nice chat with a Stacy. Funny how the computer system was down over a month ago and is down even yet.

Gotta love you on these issues - Daniel! You use to be a pretty good family's GP for my family until you went into weight loss. Maybe you can explain to me or God exactly why...You can't replace my daughter's beautiful smile either - can you?

PS My daughter has had at least 5 root canals and is loosing her teeth. She was on Adapex for over a year thru this office and didn't find out how bad the stuff was until I did my research.

I've been going to Dr. Healy for almost three years now and have never had any problems with them, they have a freindly staff and when Dr. Healy is unavalible to see me, Dr. Rosales is more than knowlagable about my needs and does a wonderfull job of taking care of me. It is extremly hard to find good doctors in this day and age but kind care medical clinic has more than met all of my expectations.
