I don't know about the Hibachi side of this restaurant but after eating their sushi I will NEVER go back. The waiter said that their tuna came in every other day but it was distinctly fishy, as was the salmon, and the various other white fish sashimi. I left more than $10 worth of sushi on the table. When I complained, they asked me if I'd ever had sushi before. I told them I'd been eating it for years and the woman cashing me out just shrugged and said "sorry." My stomach is a LOT sorrier. So is my bathroom.‎

This is not a place to get Sushi. This is a place to get Hibachi style cooking without the performance. I have extensive experience with American sushi and Japanese sushi (study abroad for a year in Nagoya). The tuna was days old, the yellow tail was inedible, and their veggies were wilted at best. This is the first time that I was unable to eat raw fish put in front of me. The sashimi was god awful. The hibachi food looked good, although I didn't try it.‎

My first experience at Kimono was probably not the best. I had only ever been in Japanese restaurants where they cook the food in front of you and was disappointed that they did not do that at this restaurant. However, after I tasted their food I fell in love with the restaurant. My husband and eat there quite often and find it to be a real treat both in taste and cost wise. You get a lot of food for the price.

It is a great Japanese restaurant. It is kind of fast food Japanese. They don't cook in front of you, but the prices are very reasonable and food is fantastic. You can get take out or dine in. Either way you'll enjoy the food. And there is a lot of food for the price. My son loves it too which is rare. He is a picky eater. Check it out if you're in the area.

Kimono's is clean, the service is attentive and very friendly, the food is an excellent value. Overall our favorite place for after church and family dining. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food in an inviting and comfortable surrounding.
