Fun, creative play in a beautiful environment: Bring your 1-6 year old to this colorful, whimsically decorated space for a variety of fun, hands-on, low-tech activities. They have a stage with a mirror & a variety of high-quality dress-up clothes; an art room; a bright & well-appointed play kitchen; a large & elaborately stocked train table; a wide & appealing assortment of musical instruments, a huge doll house with "Groovy Girls" dolls & furniture; an infant's play area; & lots of free classes, including art, music & yoga.

Sigh. At $6 per person, it's kind of pricey (I wish they wouldn't charge for adults), & I also wish that they were open later than 2pm on weekday afternoons ... but KidSpot is still definitely worthwhile.

A high-quality environment like this is expensive to build & run. These people are doing a great job. I've heard that they've sold the place to a new owner & that they are in the process of becoming a non-profit organization. I hope they keep going in this direction. A business of this quality is awfully hard to run & they need all the help & funding they can get. We really need a facility like KidSpot around here.

They also rent the space out for birthday parties for very reasonable rates. Since they don't serve food, you can provide whatever refreshments you want.
