Dr Holt is wonderful! My 3 kids absolutely LOVE him! He does not do uneccisary work, and takes excellent care of the kids' teeth! I'm glad insurance pays for most of it, but would still go even if it didn't!

I was told my kids needed $500 worth of dental work. After saving up and paying for half of it, I find out that these cavities might have never of existed. My third child was told he had no cavities last week. The year before he had $300 ...

We went to Dr. Holt for a number of years too....until we realized how expensive he is compared to everyone else (I think you are paying extra for the tubes and the kid friendly tv's, etc). If your kids are afraid of the dentist then maybe it will be worth it.

Plus, I really don't agree with some of their methods. They like for all kids to get all the extras they can (like nitrous oxide for one, even if they don't need it) to increase their billing. (these amounts were way over and above what dental insurance covers)

Plus, buyer beware, they are connected to the orthodontist that shares the same office. My word of warning...get a 2nd opinion from another
orthodontist as soon as the dentist refers you to the orthodontist.

Their plan is good. The orthodontist does a preliminary exam (free) and some follow up visits (free) until they feel is the correct time to start the braces. Then when they decide it is time to begin the braces process, they hit you with the visit where they tell you that if you sign on the dotted line today (and today only), you can save 10% on the total bill. Braces are very expensive and this is a
pretty big discount---for me the discount was over $500. That day I had been in their office for almost 2.5 hours and it definitely felt orchestrated. The work that they did was acceptable but their sign on the dotted line process definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

I just moved here from out of state and had an after hours dental emergency... my 7yr old had an abscessed tooth and was crying in pain.....So I called and got there answering service and at first the lady was very nice Dr.Hope will be paged and call you back shortly Yeah right almost an hour later I call back and the same nice sweet lady tells me the doctor just doesn't have time to deal WITH YOU KIND the kind that doesn't have insurance I assume go to the emergency room ...SO I went spent 4 hours in a room with my cranky 7month old and 7yr old crying in pain just for them to tell me they can't do anything HE NEEDS TO GO TO THE DENTIST I'd never recommend a place that's after your money and doesn't care about the reason they doing there job screw you people .....I will tell every person I meet about your lousy service and attitudes and your money hungry selfish DR. HOPE and they will tell 10other people and so forth !

My son is only three and already has a phobia of going to the dentist. When I read a review of Kids Dental on Insider Pages, I made an appointment right away. My son saw Dr. Louca, who was aswesome. She amde him feel at ease, even though he isn't usually very good with strangers. My son watched a video wearing headphones while the doctor gave him a check up. When we left B wanted to know when we could come back! Now that's impressive.
