Wasabi Ketchup!
The food was great and the wasabi ketchup is to die for! However, the lighting is dark (I prefer to see my food) and the wait staff wasn't great. But if you want good food I highly recommend it!

The Atmosphere is Just As Good As the Food
I love Ketchup! I've been there twice. It's regular American food made more higher class. It has a nice lounge area and the decor of the place always makes me happy when I'm in there. I agree with another reviewer stating it's hip and trendy. I've never had a complaint

Don't let the name fool you, their ketchup tastes bad too!
If you watched the Hills and thought of going to Ketchup because of Heidi & Spencer, THINK AGAIN! My boyfriend and I decided to have dinner at Ketchup since its right down the street and i remembered seeing it on an episode of the HIlls.

The waitress was nice, so was the server, HOWEVER, the food was very bland, the portion sizes were VERY small (the pork loin i ordered was 4-5 oz, but they hid the small size with LOTS of side garnishes - 3 HUGE friend green tomatoes and extra sides that were tasteless) and their ketchup mixes are not worth spending any money on and it was VERY OVER PRICED. I would highly recommend walking a few blocks over to BLT Steak for nice gourmet food with real portion sizes and quality food OR go to Cravings..they have good food to thats worth paying for!

Worst meal and ambiance in town
I swear the other reviews must be plants because I had such a horrible experience. The hostess was nice, but the rest of the staff was horrible.

We were looking for a place for my daughter's sweet 16. We read some good reviews, but I should have looked at more.

When the waiter refilled our water glasses, there were black flecks floating. When I pointed these out, he took two of our glasses and left the room. When he came back, he definitely had an attitude. My daughters friends and I all joked that we thought he would do something to our food.

Then the food came - I ordered a chicken caesar salad. The lettuce was brown and wilted and the chicken was flavorless. My daughter and friends all got grilled cheese sandwiches and fries. The fries were also flavorless.

$65 for the worst meal I've ever had in LA. Don't walk; run to another restaurant. It isn't worth it.

Hip and trendy
Upon coming in for our reservation last saturday, we were happily greeted at the entrance by two very attractive hostesses where we were asked to head upstairs to wait in the lounge for our table. To our surprise, we were seated very promptly, especially considering the size of the restaurant compared to the large number of people that were there. Our server was at the table as soon as we sat down, and our food following not too long behind. The food itself was great, with the kitchen mastering the technique of putting their own creative, and very interesting, spin on what seems to be simple comfort food. The atmosphere itself was very hip and trendy, with a surprisingly wide age range. The restaurant seems to be great for all ages, and although its a great place to start before going out on a Friday or Saturday night, it's definitely a place everyone will enjoy,
