The Check Engine light continues to come on. It may stay on for a few hours...or possibly still be on the next morning. The problem is that it may reset at anytime whenever I start the car. Not always, though. Today (7-16-07), I took it by there because the Check Engine Light is on again. All I wanted them to do at this point is to acknowledge that the light is on as my factory warranty is about to expire in less than 700 miles. I do have the extended warranty, but at this point, it is as useless as the factory warranty if I cannot get someone to repair this problem. They connected the microprocessor 'reader/scanner' to it last time and it did not have any history of the light coming on. How could that be? This will be corrected, even if I have to hire a lawyer and show that check engine light to every Chrysler Dealer within 100 miles. They did tell me that they seen it and 'promised' that they would remember it when I am supposed to bring it by there tomorrow. As a matter of fact, there was a lady named 'KC' at the Kernersville Chrysler Dodge who wrote, 35,313 7/16 Celon (Check Engine Light On) on the back of a business card.. I asked them for some kind of receipt saying the light was on when I brought it by there, but noone would give me one. I paid too much money for this car to have to deal with that check engine light every time I start the car. What would you do if you bought a $35,000 car and your check engine light kept coming on...and noone seemed to want to repair your car?? Isn't that special?
Ok, the Check Engine light is on again. It was on when I started the car to leave work at 4:30pm. The reason I didn't call Kernersville Dodge is because the Maintenance Manager told me there was nothing wrong with it last time I took it out there.
