Keplers is the best book store on the Peninsula. More famous authors read and sign here than any other place I've ever been. Wonderful selection of books, music, etc. The staff knows books... and so do the other shoppers. Fun place just to hang out. I would higly recommend.

Kepler's has been around for ages. They almost closed, but their customers rallied in support and they are open again. That is a testament to how great this store is. It is a place to wander, explore and learn.

A Menlo Park institution for 50+ years, Keppler's is that great bookstore we all crave. It doesn't have *everything*, but oh the experience. Its a place to go and enjoy books, to learn about new authors, to steep in the revelry of books and enjoy the experience of shopping for them. So wonderful, that as the business started to go under as folks starting buying more from Amazon, et al, locals have stepped up to underwrite the business to keep it open. Sometimes love beats profit and its that good a bookstore.

Kepler's is great! There was a rumor they were going to tear it down, and I almost started crying. I used to get all my books for middle school there back in the day, and couldn't believe they would tear down such an institution. They always have the best books in stock, and the store is divided into helpful sections. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable- their recommendations never fail! Buy a book and grab a latte at Borrone's next door- one of my favorite places to hang out.

Keplers came back from the brink of closing permanently and are we lucky. The staff is amazing as they are able to recommend books for most reading genres. There is a huge selection of books and magazines.
