Would not recommend!!!!! I spent 4,500. on a standard rebuild chevy 350 and it seized up after 500 miles. Towed it in, thinking that is was warranty. Came back at me telling me, the passing gear caused main engine bearing to seize, which they fixed and charged me for on my work order, Oh! and they wanted 2500,to fix it and that they were not at fault!!!
So I told them not to touch it and got it out of their shop. I was not giving them another penny.. Since then I've had the motor pulled, photographed, documented and have two speed shops mechincs tell me some things. One, the passing gear would not cause a new well built motor to lock up at 500 miles. Two they said the inside of the block looked like it had 80,000 miles on it let alone 500 miles. This telling me that it was improperly Machined, and poorly built.
Knowing Kenyon was a machine shop I thought I was going to get a well built motor and have a good relationship with them. So now my daily driver still has no motor and has been affecting my work, and I'm out 4,500 bucks. Seems to me that any shop with a soul would stand buy what they build!!! I also think since I'm a younger guy they took advantage of my lack of no how. So if your thinking of getting work done here be careful, these guys are pros THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT DO IT.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not finished with this shop!!!
