This is a fantastic place to visit that allows children to see animals native to KY for free. They have an indoor musuem with fish, snakes, frogs and others then a walking trail outside that lets you see 2 bears, eagles, deer, fish under a waterfall, buffalo and elk. This is a wonderful place. Very well done and the price is great - free.

This place has all the animals that are native to KY - bears, eagles, fish, deer, elk, bison etc.... My son loves to go and see the animals. It's much smaller than zoos like Louisville but it is a wonderful place - very well done. There is a small museum inside with turtles, frogs, snakes, and changing exhibits. The best part to me is that it is still free. There is also a huge fishing lake with tons of geese. Great place to meet family and enjoy nature.
