Let me start out by saying that service was great at my local KFC drive-tru and I don't know what the secret ingredient is, but it does taste good.
However, I have a little bit of beef with the company for two reasons: First, there is the normal PETA stance on the cruel treatment of their animals. (I won't go into all the details here, but you can look them up on peta.com)
Secondly, their meals are disproportionally priced and grouped. You can get the big family meals for a pretty good price, but when it comes to just a single person meal, be ready to pay for it. Even their big-box meal, which is advertised as being a very large serving (I remember ads showing big men who could barely finish it) is a horrible "deal". It costs about $6 with tax, in which you get a large drink (79 cents at 7-11), two small pieces of chicken (can probably be found on the 99 cent menu at McDonalds), a biscuit (about 5 cents each when you make them at home), and two small sides that would put the elementary school lunch menu to shame. Oh, and I almost forgot the popcorn chicken, which is fabulous!!! but you only get a tiny boxfull. What's up with that?
My suggestion would be to either get a family meal or burger meal if you can't pass up the taste and want something that's going to fill you up. Oh, and one last tip....If you're not a big ranch fan, ask them if what your getting comes with ranch on it, because they don't tell you on the menu.
